Fr. Urey Patrick Mark was ordained to the Priesthood on May 26, 2007 in Techny IL. He had his theological studies at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.  He received a Master of Divinity degree with emphasis on World Mission and a Masters of Arts in Theology degree with Church History as his major and Systemic Theology as minor. Fr. Urey comes with gifts and spirituality of pastoral experience, Cross-Cultural Ministry, Stewardship and Development, young adult faith formation, administration, public speaking, leadership and devotion to the Eucharist.

Director of Liturgy and Worship

Dr. Kevin Johnson, associate professor and chair of music at Spelman College, is a musician, a composer, and an active clinician. The director of the Spelman Glee Club has traveled through the United States, providing choral workshops and retreats for music educators and churches. In his professional career as a thriving musician, Dr. Kevin Johnson served as the minister of music at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Atlanta for seventeen years. He is also one of the most highly demanded and prominent musicians in the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the Catholic Archdiocese nationwide.

Administrative Assistant

Rusia Wilkerson is the new assistant at Lyke House. Graduated from Agnes Scott College in Spring 2015, she received a BA in History and has a minor in Religious Studies. Rusia plans to continue her education and obtain a Masters in Museum Studies. She is a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary and is the recording secretary for her Court.

 

 

 

Myles Logan
Ministry Assistant

Myles Logan is a junior at Clark Atlanta University and is majoring in Sociology. He is from Stone Mountain, Georgia. After graduation he plans to attend graduate school. Myles believes that the Lyke House is a wonderful place that has helped him to grow spiritually.

Ministry Assistant

Olivia Freeman is a junior at Clark Atlanta University and is majoring in Sociology. She hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. Family, faith, and education are important in her life. She plans to be a Program Director at a community outreach center or a college professor. Educating kids and teenagers has become her greatest passions. “I feel like as adults we can learn so much from them while still teaching them things as well!”
